Teacher Adrian is an experienced math educator dedicated to unlocking students’ potential through tailored, data-driven coaching that improves grades and fosters a love for learning math.
Unlike educators defined solely by academic success, Adrian’s journey is shaped by both struggle and achievement. Having faced challenges in primary school, he knows what it feels like to be discouraged — and how persistence and guidance can turn things around.
Before teaching, Adrian built a successful career on the trading floor in Singapore, London, and Hong Kong. Retiring early at 36, he brings over 13 years of expertise in data analysis and decision-making under pressure, offering students a real-world perspective on mathematics.
Drawing on his background in the financial markets, Adrian adopts a precision-based approach: identifying exactly where a student’s understanding breaks down, then tailoring strategies that strengthen problem-solving skills and exam confidence. Mathematics is taught not as a subject to memorise, but as a way of thinking.
